You do not need to search a whole episode when you already know the moment you want.

Choose where to start

  • Clipping: find moments in a long recording.
  • Editor: cut and frame a moment you already know.
  • Caption Maker: add captions to an already edited video.

Set the cut

In the Editor, keep the beginning slightly before the useful sentence and the ending after the thought finishes. Listen across both boundaries. Tighten the cut without losing words or context.

Check the framing

Choose an editing mode suited to the shot. Review speaker handoffs and keep any object or demonstration needed to follow the story visible. Adjust the edit when the automatic result needs help.

Make captions easy to read

Correct names, numbers and unusual terms. Choose a style that stays readable over the footage, or No captions when subtitles are not needed. Check placement on a phone.

Use Caption Maker for a finished edit

Bring in the edited video, correct the transcript and choose the caption style. Watch the exported file before delivery.

Review the allowance rules before requesting transcription.
